Ice Cube Tray (HDPE + TPE Overmold)

This ice cube tray is designed for reliable performance in freezing environments and long-term household use. Originally developed with PP material, the product was upgraded to HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) after the customer experienced brittle cracking issues under low-temperature conditions.

Compared with PP, HDPE offers significantly improved low-temperature impact resistance and flexibility, effectively eliminating cracking after freezing and repeated use. This upgrade ensures better durability and a longer service life, especially in freezer applications.

The base features a TPE overmolded layer, providing a soft, non-slip grip and enhanced user comfort during demolding. The combination of rigid HDPE structure and flexible TPE support delivers both strength and ease of use in a single integrated design.

This solution is widely used for household and commercial ice-making applications where reliability at low temperatures is critical.
